Subtlety is not my husband’s strong suit. But he’s a man who knows what he wants and how to get it…

In last week’s photo tip he suggested using text to practice focusing your camera—with the following photograph:

I had a busy morning so missed seeing that tip but, fortunately, Nick’s fans watch out for him and fellow model-rocket enthusiast Aaron Redmond posted the following message on facebook:

Hmm, duly noted.  Thanks, Aaron!

Cut to…

Father’s Day morning at the Kelsh household:

Teddy and Alexander couldn’t wait to give Nick his presents as soon as everyone was awake.

(Teddy proclaimed it “just like Christmas morning!”)

Nick opened his first present (you’ll see what it was at the end)…

Teddy couldn’t contain his excitement as Nick opened the big gift!

Neither could Nick!

Teddy scampered downstairs for tools to open the box.

Digging in:

Love you, Dad…

Happy Father’s Day!

And then, off to breakfast at our favorite cafe…

Hope everyone else had as much fun, and wishing you all a Happy Father’s Day!
