What I Learned Launch Week

I learned things this week that I’ve always known but sometimes forget.

I remembered that if you put your feet on the floor and stand up when the alarm goes off you won’t be sorry…even if it’s 4 AM.

I remembered that putting a little daily dent into all of those seemingly overwhelming tasks is the secret to keeping your nose above water.

I remembered that the power of watching someone get excited about a photograph they love will prompt you to pick up a camera and take a picture.

I remembered that an annoying technical glitch is nothing but a glitch, and not important in the grand scheme of things, even if, at first glance, it appears to be a disaster straight from the center of hell.

I remembered that’s it’s never too late to jump off a cliff if that’s what it takes for you to do what you know you can do.

I remembered the that power of doing your best work today is the secret for doing your best work tomorrow.

I remembered how photography has the amazing quality of allowing people who have never shared their world, to put their heart out there in front of God and everybody.

And, finally,  I remembered how a few kind words from someone I’ve never met can change the way I feel about almost everything. And that, my friends, is pure joy.
