#26 – Christy Wade
This is Christy’s grandfather saying good night to his wife two days before she passed away. I was so touched by this photograph because today my family gathers in Humbird, Wisconsin to bury the ashes of my father and my mother in a little local cemetery. All of their children and grandchildren have come from points all over the United States to be there for this simple ceremony. Thanks to Christie for letting me share this photograph as a reminder of what she described in her post:
“This is what life long love looks like… 66 years to be exact.”
