#33 – Meloney Goodman
I think what makes this so charming is that they are both so comfortable with each other. Hollywood would have to reach far and wide to come up with a more photographically cooperative amphibian. The picture is as simple as simple can be and yet the whole story is told. This would be a very different picture if she wasn’t dressed for a tea party. (The frog is invited, by the way, and clearly very happy about it—love the body language.)
This is a wonderful portrait. It’s that simple.
