#34 – Kristina Marks Thompson
Photographs that look like this are, for me, photo-journalism at its best. They are sweet and delicate and thoughtful and almost always in black-and-white. They tell a simple story with the tilt of the head or some uncontrived body language. They make us remember ourselves. They take us back to places we yearn for and the people we’ve loved; the people who live in our memories.
