45° in Minnesota is as good a reason as any to fly. (Maybe even reason to take off the long underwear for a day! In the interest of full disclosure, I’m wearing mine right now and I live in Philadelphia. Perhaps that’s TMI.) Anyway there’s joy and mood and one serious vertical leap going on here; nothing like a good thaw to make one want to party. This photograph takes me right back to boyhood Fargo. I so clearly know the feeling. And that’s one thing really good photographs do – they connect people with people. I’m connected.
