#21 – Michael James
I think it’s a testament to the healing powers of photography that Michael has decided to share a photo here at this difficult time. This picture works on so many levels. It speaks to composition, lighting, simple backgrounds, shallow depth of field, not to mention courage and the human spirit.
Here are Michael’s words:
“Hi Nick, it has been awhile since I posted any photos on your page. My wife has been battling breast cancer over the past 18 months. During this fight she has let me take photos to document her struggle. This photo was taken after she decided to have her hair cut because it was starting to fall out…The title is “cancer…it lets true beauty shine”
