#8 – Anita Fusco Baumann
This picture works on so many levels. First of all, it’s simply beautiful. But I love the energy coming off of every one one of those faces. It’s amazing. Seriously, look at those faces and ask yourself how you feel.

“A vintage ’58 Dodge truck in a beautiful shade of green. The sun setting over Iowa farmland. Kids caught up in the novelty of it all. … And some post-production to give it a rustic look that speaks of an analog age and a simpler time. The picture out of the camera was lovely, but Lightroom allowed me to find a different look that, in my opinion, makes these photos work on a different level. They feel like they should be advertising something. Childhood innocence perhaps?”
