Many of you will be traveling today or tomorrow. The Thanksgiving journey is often as much a tradition as the meal. I realize that this little girl is probably not walking to Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving, but Anna and her daughter are both relishing (pun intended) her trip in their own way.

Many of you will have photographic opportunities as you work your way to the turkey. It could be across town or across the country. Just keep your eyes open. It may be storytelling pictures of people you don’t even know.

Of course the color in this picture sets the tone for this wonderful holiday. It’s practically glowing with thankfulness.

I don’t think I’ve ever said this out loud but I am so thankful for Thanksgiving.
