I honestly don’t know if Bee was lying on her back when she shot this or if she put the camera on self timer and plopped the camera in flowers and crossed her fingers for a photographic Hail Mary or something in between. Regardless, that little girl’s face in that space is just right.

 

I do know that if I had been taking this picture I would have thinking that her face might be a little dark and it would need a little brightening in editing. (She is after all looking down away from the light source.

Anyway, I brightened her face in Snapseed which is a free app for smart phones.

 

It’s pretty satisfying and I think makes a big difference.
