It’s little brother learning from big brother about the world. Lesson One: Toys are good. (They are.) Lesson Two: Mom is a good photographer. (She is.)
This picture works so well because it is stripped to its most basic essentials. The little guy on the left is severely cropped (In the most loving way, I should say). That blank wall is pretty significant, too. If there were some piece of art on the wall it would be a very different photograph.
Simple statements are often powerful statements. Plus, baby fat is beautiful.
