First of all, you have to give it to the fun loving uncle, that’s one serious vertical leap. Very Impressive. But I think most of the story telling credit goes to our photographer, Kimberly. Her timing and composition are exquisite. That horizontal line in the background just emphasizes that he’s that far off the ground—the girl’s heads are below the line. The joy in the girls faces directs the attention to the leaper. It all works so well…and so quickly. It’s an immediate read. I love that this is a picture of an uncle, too. Uncles are good people.
