#29. Rachel Hardesty
This picture had to be taken with a phone. I know why some of you will think it’s a bit sad but it’s such a sign of the times it makes me smile.
The angle is just right. The camera is in exactly the right place to tell the story. The background is too cluttered but Rachel has put her subjects up against it as best she could. At the wrong angle those arms and hands could have been a tangled mess and hard to read. She’s decided to leave the bare feet in-a key decision-which adds so much to the personality of the shot.
The more I look at this one the more I like it. Just another image from 2020.
