#28. Diane Steever Anderson
These are sisters 13 years apart. I think what makes this work so well is that we only see one face.
We can see enough of the hidden face to see what appears to be a smile. At the very least we get that it’s a powerful, loving relationship. Of course reducing it to black and white just enhances the point. Beautiful, beautiful, Diane.
On a personal note, I have a brother four years older than me and twin siblings 10 years younger. I also have three sons; 33, 16, and 13, This all just gives me an extra reason to love the look on this young woman’s face.
The windblown hair and out of focus background just add to the spontaneity of the moment.
