#43. Liz Sharp Griffin
OK, there are some words required. But the story is so great. Enjoy. Thank you for this, Liz. (I will admit, I did think that cowboying was all galloping and yehawing. Who knew?)

“On a recent cattle drive I took photos for, this young cowboy was patiently waiting for the others to roundup a single calf and that was taking time. Cowboying isn’t all galloping and yehawing…. sometimes it’s waiting with the herd and keeping them quiet. Well, this lil cowboy has a problem, and it’s not a cranky cow…. he lost his boots while waiting and I happened to catch him looking down at them. I can almost hear his thoughts as he tries to figure out what he should do to get them back. You see, he’s too small to get back up in the saddle by himself. Other action took me elsewhere so I never did see how he got them back – likely another older cowboy came by and helped him out. I did see him with his boots later in the day, so I know they’re not still sitting in a pasture somewhere, boy-less.
